UIC statement on the number of February 12 rally participants

On February 12, a rally was organized by Vazgen Manukyan, the opposition candidate, in Yerevan’s Freedom Square, demanding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation. The rally started at 15:00.

The Union of Informed Citizens counted the number of participants of the rally through aerial photography. The counting revealed that as of 15:37, there were 1800 people in the section of the Freedom Square where the rally was being held.

The calculation was done through the individual count of the rally participants.
