UIC statement on the number of participants in the May 28 opposition rally

Today, on May 28, the opposition “Resistance” movement called a rally in France Square in Yerevan at 18:00 which started a little later, at around 18:30.

The Union of Informed Citizens carried out an aerial count of the participants of the rally, as a result of which it was revealed that as of 18:56, there were about 5850 people in the France Square and surrounding areas.  It should be noted that some participants of the rally might not be visible due to being under trees or tents.

The calculation was performed through individual counting of participants.
