“Foreign Policy and Media Coverage: The 44-day war” seminar held on February 13-14

“Foreign Policy and Media Coverage: The 44-day war” seminar was held in Aghveran on February 13-14, 2021.

The seminar was the 10th in a series of events entitled “Foreign Policy and Media Coverage” organized by the Union of Informed Citizens NGO for journalists, and the first event following the 44-day war in Artsakh.

Representative of the Republic of Armenia before the European Court of Human Rights Yeghishe Kirakosyan, Chairman of the Public Council, political scientist, head of the Armenian Institute for International and Security Affairs Styopa Safaryan, Executive Director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Haykak Arshamyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Andranik Kocharyan, and Armenian Deputy Minister of Defense Suren Sahakyan talked at the event.

The discussions were held in the off-the-record mode. During the event, the journalists had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers about the causes and outcomes of the second war in Artsakh.
