Daniel IoannisianProgram Director

Daniel Ioannisyan worked in the RA National Assembly as an Assistant to MP from 2010 to 2011. During this period, he prepared different packages of legislative reforms for the law enforcement sector. Since 2011, Mr. Ioannisyan worked as a law enforcement sector analyst for various local media outlets.

In 2013, Mr. Ioannisyan left politics and founded the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO in 2014. Mr. Ioannisyan was Secretary of Electoral Legislation Reform Committee in 2018. Since 2019, he has been member of the Public Council of Armenia. Since February 2020, he has been member of Constitutional Reforms Committee.

As a representative of the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO, Mr. Ioannisyan has received a number of prestigious awards, including the Universal Rights Award (Promoting Justice and Transparency) in 2017, and the 2019 Democracy Defender granted by 36 OSCE participating states.

Ashkhen MusheghyanExecutive Director

Ashkhen Musheghyan holds Master’s degree in Political Science and is a public relations specialist. She was also trained at the Yerevan School of Political Studies of the Council of Europe (YSPS). She participated in a number of local and international trainings, various projects related to political and civil sectors. She is the author of several analytical articles on foreign policy.

In 2007-2017 she worked at the Armenian Center for National and International Studies as a public affairs specialist. And in 2013-2018 she worked for Haykakan Zhamanak (The Armenian Times) daily newspaper as deputy managing editor. Since 2017 Ms. Musheghyan has been working at the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as Executive Director.

Piruza PetrosyanЕxecutive Аssistant

Piruza Petrosyan has graduated from the International Relations Department (Bachelor’s Degree) and Political Science Department (Master’s Degree) of the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University. Since November 2014, she worked as a correspondent for “Asparez” daily. Since February 2017, she has been working as an office assistant at “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO.

Tatevik TadevosyanЕxecutive Аssistant

Tatevik has graduated from the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, the Faculty of Law. Then she graduated with honors from the Department of Public International and European Law (MA degree) of the same university. She was a Teaching Assistant of the subject “Fundamentals of International Law” in 2016-2017, and a Human Rights Projects Coordinator at Civil Society Institute NGO in 2018- 2019. Since November 2019 Tatevik has been working with the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as Executive Assistant.

Vahe GhukasyanEditor

Vahe Ghukasyan holds a Master’s Degree in Oriental Studies from Yerevan State University. He has been working in the field of media since 2013. Mr. Ghukasyan has been writing analytical articles for Union of Informed Citizens NGO since 2015. His articles are mainly focused on foreign policy developments. He has been working as Editor of Union of Informed Citizens NGO since 2016.

Kristine GoroyanTranslator/ Interpreter

Kristine holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the American University of Armenia. She has also completed the Graduate Certificate in Translation program in the same university.

Kristine has worked as a translator and interpreter in a number of international projects. She also does freelance translations/interpreting in a variety of fields, including but not limited to political science and international relations, law and economics.

Since 2014, Mrs. Goroyan has been working in the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as a Translator / Interpreter.

Khoren GrigoryanVideo Editor / Cameraman

Khoren Grigoryan studied in Yerevan State University in 2009-2013. He has been working as a video editor for various media outlets since 2016. Since November 2018, Khoren started working with the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as a video editor and cameraman.

Shushan HarutyunyanTranslator

Shushan Harutyunyan has graduated from Yerevan State University, Department of Russian Philology. Starting from 2015, she worked as a translator for the news website analitik.am.

Since 2016, she has been working as a proofreader for the cultural and educational magazine “Zham” (Moscow). Ms. Harutyunyan has been working as a translator and website moderator in the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO since October 2016.

Ani GrigoryanEditor-in-Chief

Ani Grigoryan has graduated from the Department of International Relations at European Regional Educational Academy. She worked as a journalist at Civilnet Internet TV since 2013. She has been cooperating with the regional Chai Khana media platform since 2015. Ani joined the Fact Investigation Platform team in May 2019 as Editor-in-Chief.

Sevada GhazaryanJournalist

Sevada Ghazaryan studied in State Engineering University of Armenia in 2008-2016. In 2012-2014, he served in the RA Armed Forces. In 2014-2018, Mr. Ghazaryan worked in the private sector. He has been working in the Fact Investigation Platform as a journalist since  October 2019.

Lousine VoskanyanJournalist

Lusine Voskanyan graduated from the Department of Journalism of the Yerevan State University in 2013. Since 2014, Ms. Voskanyan worked in Ankakh weekly, and is an alumnus of Medialab Art School (2015-2016). Since 2019, She has been correspondent at Yerevan and Regional Post journals. In the same year, she did a volunteer work in Pula (Croatia) within the framework of European Solidarity Corps, by co-authoring a radio program at RadioRojc. Ms. Voskanyan has been working in the Fact Investigation Platform as a journalist since 2019.

Nelli LazaryanJournalist

Nelli Lazaryan studied in the the Department of Journalism of the Armenian State Pedagogical University in 2001-2006. In 2010-2011, Mrs. Lazaryan worked in the A1plus.am news website. In 2011-2019, she worked in Tert.am news website. Mrs. Lazaryan has been working in the Fact Investigation Platform as a journalist since November 2019.

Ani AvetisyanJournalist

Ani Avetisyan studies in the Department of Journalism of the Yerevan State University. She has been a correspondent for youth periodicals since 2016. In 2018-2019, she worked as a data journalist in “Ampop Media”. Ms. Avetisyan has been working in the Fact Investigation Platform as a journalist since fall 2019.

Victoria AndreasyanMedia Monitoring Coordinator

Victoria Andreasyan is an Expert on Oriental Studies. She has worked as a translator, editor/coordinator in international press department in various media outlets and later also as a journalist in leading Armenian media platforms since 2011. In 2017 she was involved in the Election Observation mission of OSCE/ODIHR as a media monitoring expert. Since August 2018, Victoria has been working with the Union of Informed Citizens as a Project Assistant for the project “Enabling Watchdog Journalism in Armenia”, and later as a Media Monitoring Coordinator.

Tatevik KerobyanMedia Monitoring Expert

Tatevik Kerobyan has been working in the private sector since 2008. She is the co-founder and former director of “JR’s House” LLC.

2014-2017 Ms. Kerobyan has been Chairperson at “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO. Starting from 2017 she has been working as a media monitor at the Union of Informed Citizens  NGO.

Nane ManasyanMedia Мonitoring Еxpert

Nane Manasyan has graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Yerevan State University. She received her Master’s Degree from the Department of Turkish Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.  She has been engaged in Journalism since 2014, working in the “Lratvakan” Radio, PanARMENIAN.Net website, “Yerkir Media” and Armenia TVs. Ms. Manasyan has been Member of Staff of the Federation of Youth Clubs since 2013, and Chief Secretary of the federation in 2017-2019. She has been working in the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as a media monitoring expert since 2019.

Arusik VoskanyanMedia Monitoring Expert

Arusik Voskanyan has graduated from the Faculty of Sociology of Yerevan State University. In the same year, she started work at the “Public Relations and Information Center” SNCO of Staff of the Prime Minister as a media monitoring expert. Ms. Voskanyan has been working in the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as a media monitoring expert since August 2019.

Anna PambukhchyanAnalyst-Expert

Anna Pambukhchyan is responsible for the media monitoring program. Since 2012 she has worked as a responsible person for the programs in public sector. Since 2014 she has been a member of the Union of Informed Citizens NGO. She also worked as a media monitor at the OSCE ODIHR election observation mission. Ms. Pambukhchyan studied at Central European University with specialization in International Relations and European Studies.

Paylak KarapetyanAccountant

Paylak Karapetyan is an economist by profession. He has work experience in the banking sector as a Loan Specialist, in the private sector as well as NGO sector. Since 2014 he has been working as an accountant and a financial expert for large and medium-sized enterprises. He also provides financial analysis and accounting consultancy as a freelancer. Since 2018, Paylak has been working with the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as an Accountant.

He has Master’s Degrees in Economics and Environmental Law.

Mane MartiryanDigital Marketing Expert

Mane Martiryan has graduated from the Institute of Media, Advertising and Cinema of the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University, and is an advertising specialist. In 2011-2018, she worked at IP Marketing organization as a digital marketing expert. In 2018-2020, she worked at Shant TV as the head of the Digital Marketing Department. Since March 2020, she has been working at the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO as a digital marketing expert.

Artashes SergoyanAdvisor on Constitutional and Electoral Reform

Artashes Sergoyan has been coordinating regional development programs at NGO Center since 2018. In 2013-2018, he implemented projects related to the protection of human rights in the armed forces, as well as anti-corruption and youth projects as a member of the Peace Dialogue NGO. In 2009-2013, he was a member of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation’s Coordinating Team for the Youth Bank of Lori Region. Mr. Sergoyan has many years of experience in training election observation groups. In 2004-2006, he studied Economics, Accounting and Auditing at the Vanadzor Branch of the Agrarian University of Armenia, and since 2019 he has been studying at the Management Department of the Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University. Since May 2020, he has been working at the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO as an advisor on constitutional and electoral reforms.

Vagharsh AghabekyanLaw Enforcement Expert

In 2013 – 2015, Vagharsh Aghabekyan worked as an investigator in the Artsakh Police, and as a prosecutor in the Prosecutor’s Office in 2016-2018. He worked as an investigator in the RA State Revenue Committee in 2018-2019. Since 2019, Mr. Aghabekyan has been teaching at the Chair of Law of the Faculty of History and Law at Artsakh State University. Since 2019, he has been a legal advisor at the the Union of Informed Citizens Stepanakert Office, and since 2020 he has been an expert on the law enforcement system at the same organization.

Hovsep GhazaryanDirector of UIC Stepanakert Office

Hovsep Ghazaryan is a physicist by profession and a candidate of biological sciences. He has been actively involved in social and political activities since 2005. Since 2009 he has also been involved in scientific activities. Starting from January 2018 Hovsep has been working with the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as a Project Assistant for “Positive Change Through Civil Society Empowerment” project․ Since November 2019, he has been Executive Director of the Stepanakert Office of the Union of Informed Citizens NGO.
