
Daniel IoannisianPrograms Coordinator
Daniel Ioannisyan worked in the RA National Assembly as an assistant to deputy in 2010-2011. During this period, he prepared various packages of legislative changes to the law enforcement system. Since 2011, Daniel Ioannisyan has worked as a law enforcement system analyst for various local media outlets.
In 2013, Ioannisyan left politics and in 2014 founded the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO. In 2018, he was the Secretary of the Electoral Legislation Reform Commission under the Prime Minister. Since 2019, he has been a member of the RA Public Council. In February, 2020, he was engaged in the activities of the Professional Commission on Constitutional Reforms. 2020-2023 was a member of the Police Reforms Coordination Council, since 2019 has been a member of the Anti-Corruption Policy Council, and since 2022, a member of the Constitutional Reforms Council.
As a representative of the “Union of Informed Citizens,” he received a number of prestigious awards, including the 2017 Universal Rights Award (in the “Promotion of Justice and Transparency” nomination), as well as the 2019 Democracy Defender Award presented by the 36 OSCE participating states.

Ashkhen MusheghyanExecutive Director
Ashkhen Musheghyan holds Master’s degree in Political Science and is a public relations specialist. She was also trained at the Yerevan School of Political Studies of the Council of Europe (YSPS). She participated in a number of local and international trainings, various projects related to political and civil sectors. She is the author of several analytical articles on foreign policy.
In 2007-2017 she worked at the Armenian Center for National and International Studies as a public affairs specialist. And in 2013-2018 she worked for Haykakan Zhamanak (The Armenian Times) daily newspaper as deputy managing editor. Since 2017 Ms. Musheghyan has been working at the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as Executive Director.

Piruza PetrosyanProject Assistant & Fundraising Specialist
Piruza Petrosyan has a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the Department of International Relations of the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University. She has been working in the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as a program assistant since 2017. Since 2021, Piruza has also been responsible for fundraising activities, supporting the financial stability of the organization.

Lilit GhazaryanЕxecutive Аssistant
Lilit Ghazaryan holds a Master’s Degree in Management Psychology and is a Social Work Expert. Since 2014, she has been involved in a number of national and international democratic and community activism projects as a participant and volunteer, collaborating with prominent representatives of the NGO sector.
She has work experience as an interviewer, content author, journalist, observer of election processes. In 2019-2021, she worked as an assistant to MP of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
Since May 2020, Lilit has been working in the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as an executive assistant.

Ruzanna AvagimyanProject Officer
In 2011, she finished the Master’s course in International Business Law at the French University of Armenia, in 2016 she graduated from the RA School of Advocates with civil and administrative orientation.
She worked in the judicial system, then in the Parliament with main focus on legislative initiatives, constitutional disputes, as well as inquiries, state budget analysis and recommendations.
In 2022, she authored a report on war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Azerbaijan during the 44-day war, recommendations for policy development against hate speech, other analyses of legal nature. Since October 2022, she has worked in the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as a Project Officer.

Vahe GhukasyanEditor
Vahe Ghukasyan holds a Master’s Degree in Oriental Studies from Yerevan State University. He has been working in the field of media since 2013. Mr. Ghukasyan has been writing analytical articles for Union of Informed Citizens NGO since 2015. His articles are mainly focused on foreign policy developments. He has been working as Editor of Union of Informed Citizens NGO since 2016.

Mane MartiryanDigital Marketing Expert
Mane Martiryan has graduated from the Institute of Media, Advertising and Cinema of the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University, and is an advertising specialist. In 2011-2018, she worked at IP Marketing organization as a digital marketing expert. In 2018-2020, she worked at Shant TV as the head of the Digital Marketing Department. Since March 2020, she has been working at the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO as a digital marketing expert.

Shushan HarutyunyanTranslator
Shushan Harutyunyan has graduated from Yerevan State University, Department of Russian Philology. Starting from 2015, she worked as a translator for the news website analitik.am.
Since 2016, she has been working as a proofreader for the cultural and educational magazine “Zham” (Moscow). Ms. Harutyunyan has been working as a translator and website moderator in the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO since October 2016.

Kristine GoroyanTranslator/ Interpreter
Kristine holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the American University of Armenia. She has also completed the Graduate Certificate in Translation program in the same university.
Kristine has worked as a translator and interpreter in a number of international projects. She also does freelance translations/interpreting in a variety of fields, including but not limited to political science and international relations, law and economics.
Since 2014, Mrs. Goroyan has been working in the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as a Translator / Interpreter.

Khoren GrigoryanVideo Editor / Cameraman
Khoren Grigoryan studied in Yerevan State University in 2009-2013. He has been working as a video editor for various media outlets since 2016. Since November 2018, Khoren started working with the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as a video editor and cameraman.

Hakob KarapetyanEditor-in-Chief
Hakob Karapetyan graduated from the Department of International Relations at Yerevan State University. He has been engaged in journalism since 2010. Hakob has been working in the Fact Investigation Platform as an editor-in-chief since the beginning of 2022.

Sevada GhazaryanJournalist
Sevada Ghazaryan studied in State Engineering University of Armenia in 2008-2016. In 2012-2014, he served in the RA Armed Forces. In 2014-2018, Mr. Ghazaryan worked in the private sector. He has been working in the Fact Investigation Platform as a journalist since October 2019.

Lusine Voskanyan graduated from the Department of Journalism of the Yerevan State University in 2013. Since 2014, Ms. Voskanyan worked in Ankakh weekly, and is an alumnus of Medialab Art School (2015-2016). Since 2019, She has been correspondent at Yerevan and Regional Post journals. In the same year, she did a volunteer work in Pula (Croatia) within the framework of European Solidarity Corps, by co-authoring a radio program at RadioRojc. Ms. Voskanyan has been working in the Fact Investigation Platform as a journalist since 2019.

Nelli Lazaryan studied in the the Department of Journalism of the Armenian State Pedagogical University in 2001-2006. In 2010-2011, Mrs. Lazaryan worked in the A1plus.am news website. In 2011-2019, she worked in Tert.am news website. Mrs. Lazaryan has been working in the Fact Investigation Platform as a journalist since November 2019.

Nane ManasyanJournalist
Nane Manasyan has graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Yerevan State University. She received her Master’s Degree from the Department of Turkish Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. She has been engaged in Journalism since 2014, working in the “Lratvakan” Radio, PanARMENIAN.Net website, “Yerkir Media” and Armenia TVs. Ms. Manasyan has been Chief Secretary of the federation in 2017-2019. She has been working in the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as a media monitoring expert since 2019. She has been working as a journalist at the Fact Investigation Platform since September 2021.

Artashes SergoyanResearcher, Consultant on Reforms
Artashes Sergoyan has been coordinating regional development programs at NGO Center since 2018. In 2013-2018, he implemented projects related to the protection of human rights in the armed forces, as well as anti-corruption and youth projects as a member of the Peace Dialogue NGO. In 2009-2013, he was a member of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation’s Coordinating Team for the Youth Bank of Lori Region. Mr. Sergoyan has many years of experience in training election observation groups. In 2004-2006, he studied Economics, Accounting and Auditing at the Vanadzor Branch of the Agrarian University of Armenia, and since 2019 he has been studying at the Management Department of the Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University. Since May 2020, he has been working at the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO as an advisor on constitutional and electoral reforms.

Vagharsh AghabekyanLaw Enforcement Expert
In 2013 – 2015, Vagharsh Aghabekyan worked as an investigator in the Artsakh Police, and as a prosecutor in the Prosecutor’s Office in 2016-2018. He worked as an investigator in the RA State Revenue Committee in 2018-2019. Since 2019, Mr. Aghabekyan has been teaching at the Chair of Law of the Faculty of History and Law at Artsakh State University. Since 2019, he has been a legal advisor at the the Union of Informed Citizens Stepanakert Office, and since 2020 he has been an expert on the law enforcement system at the same organization.

Paylak KarapetyanAccountant
Paylak Karapetyan is an economist by profession. He has work experience in the banking sector as a Loan Specialist, in the private sector as well as NGO sector. Since 2014 he has been working as an accountant and a financial expert for large and medium-sized enterprises. He also provides financial analysis and accounting consultancy as a freelancer. Since 2018, Paylak has been working with the Union of Informed Citizens NGO as an Accountant.
He has Master’s Degrees in Economics and Environmental Law.

Since November 2014, she worked as a correspondent for “Asparez” daily. Since February 2017, she has been working as an office assistant at “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO.
