How to “read” reforms: Elections, parties, police: A seminar-discussion

On March 13-14, a seminar-discussion titled “How to read the reforms” was organized in Tsakhkadzor by the Union of Informed Citizens NGO with the support of Freedom House.

The speakers of the event included Deputy Minister of Justice Kristine Grigoryan, MP, Coordinator of the Working Group on Electoral Reforms Hamazasp Danielyan, Advisors to the Working Group Daniel Ioannisyan and Vardine Grigoryan, as well as Hasmik Sardaryan, an expert of the International Fund for Electoral Systems.

During the seminar-discussion, the journalists were presented the details of the implemented reforms, the implemented and current works. During the discussions, the journalists had the opportunity to receive explanations on the details of the reform process that were of interest to them.

In addition, a meeting was organized during the event between journalists and students of the new Patrol Service of the Police, during which the latter talked about the peculiarities of their training process and the functions of the service.
