UIC statement on the number of participants in the May 1 opposition rally

Today, on May 1, the opposition “Resistance” movement was holding a rally in the France Square of Yerevan from 16:00.

The Union of Informed Citizens carried out an aerial count of the participants of the rally, as a result of which it was revealed that as of 16:48, there were about 12,500 people in the France Square and the surrounding areas.

It should be noted that some participants of the rally might not be visible due to being under trees.

The calculation was performed through individual counting of participants.
