UIC press release on the number of participants of Georgian opposition rally on October 28

Օn October 28, a rally was held against the announced results of the parliamentary elections held on October 26 in front of the parliament building on Rustaveli Street, Tbilisi, capital of Georgia.

Union of Informed Citizens counted the participants of the gathering through aerial photography. Thus, as of 20:34, there were about 19,678 people at the place of the rally and in the surrounding areas.

The calculation was carried out through an individual count of the participants. Due to the dark hour of the day, insufficient lighting and tree foliage, some of the participants of the rally may not have been counted.
