UIC statement on the number of participants of the March 10 rally convened by the opposition

On March 10, 2021, a rally demanding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation was organized by the Homeland Salvation Movement on the intersection  of Yerevan’s Bagramyan Avenue and Demirchyan Street, The rally started at 16։00.

Note that the mentioned forces have closed the part of Baghramyan Avenue adjacent to the National Assembly since February 25, and since March 9, entrance to the National Assembly has also been blocked from the side of Demirchyan Street.

The Union of Informed Citizens counted the number of the participants of the rally through aerial photography. As of 17։31, there were about 2250 people in the area closed by the protesters on the intersection of Baghramyan and Demirchyan streets.
