A public discussion on police reform took place at the Kapan branch of NPUA

On November 15, a public discussion on police reform took place in Kapan with the participation of students from the Kapan branch of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia.

The event was organized by the Union of Informed Citizens with the support of Freedom House.

Amalya Hovsepyan, Advisor to the Ministry of Justice, Daniel Ioannisyan, UIC Programs Coordinator,  Member of the Police Reform Coordination Council, made speeches at the event, answering the students’ questions. Patrol service officers were also present at the public hearing.

It should be noted that this discussion is one of a series of events aimed at informing and involving students in the key reforms taking place in the country.
