Union of Informed Citizens holds a public discussion titled  “Prospects of Energy Diversification in Armenia”

On April 26, a public discussion under the title “Prospects of Energy Diversification in Armenia” was held at the Elite Plaza business center in Yerevan.

Tsovinar Vardanyan, Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the RA National Assembly, Abgar Budaghyan, Head of USAID Armenia’s Energy Security Project, spoke at the event. The discussion was moderated by political science expert Areg Kochinyan, chairman of the Research Center on Security Policy NGO.

The event was attended by journalists, leaders of public opinion, representatives of civil society organizations, and other citizens interested in the field.

A lively discussion followed, allowing the participants to ask their questions to the speakers and engage in discussions with other participants.
