Public discussion and study visit for students: Reforms in Armenia

On September 28, the Union of Informed Citizens organized a public discussion on judicial reform at Yerevan State University with the participation of the Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan.

Students from Yerevan State University had the opportunity to get acquainted with the judicial reforms, as well as to address their concerns to the Minister.

In addition, on the same day, the Union of Informed Citizens organized a study visit for the students of YSU Ijevan Branch to the newly established Corruption Prevention Commission.

During the study visit, the students got acquainted with the structure and activities of the newly established anti-corruption body, as well as gained an overview of the new strategy adopted by the state in the fight against corruption.

The above events are supported by Freedom House and are part of a series of events aimed at raising awareness and engaging students in key reforms in the country.
