Interim report on Study of RA State Procurement System

Union of Informed Citizens consulting NGO has been implementing the project “Promotion of Accountability and Public Oversight of State Procurement” since 2023, funded by the UK Government within the framework of International Development Assistance of the United Kingdom.

Within the scope of the project, on March 6 of this year, the initial report on the Study of the RA State Procurement System was published.

Below is the interim report on the Study of State Procurement System of the Republic of Armenia, which includes the works performed in the period between December 31, 2023, to March 31, 2024 including the package of recommendations addressed to the RA Ministry of Finance.

In addition, within the framework of the project, 2 inquires to the RA Ministry of Finance were prepared, and in order to reveal the compliance of three types of transactions with the RA legislation letters were drafted for official clarifications.

The interim report also addresses issues related to technical specifications, execution of procurement, performance of procurement contracts, transparency of procurements, internal supervision, etc.

The Study may be useful to investigative journalists in the field of public procurement, organizations monitoring public procurement procedures, and other interested parties.
